Manitoba receives 10 Star Award for 5^th Year.

Once again the AFP Manitoba Chapter has received the AFP 10 Star Award signifying chapter excellence. “We are honoured to receive the 10 Star Award again”, said Chapter President Ron Bailey CFRE. “The hard work by the Board and other volunteers led by Past President Linda Lindsay CFRE, kept our Chapter focused on key strategic objectives and activities. The 2009 Ten Star Award we have received, is a reflection of that work,” noted Bailey.

AFP Chapters receive the 10 Star Award in recognition of their achievements in aligning their objectives with the current strategic plan of AFP, performing specific activities designed to increase professionalism within the profession, as well as advancing public awareness of the importance of philanthropy. Among the 15 Canadian Chapters, AFP Manitoba is one of eight to recently receive the Award for achievements attained in 2009.
